While hearing aids have advanced tremendously in recent years, it is a fact that a truly optimised outcome is highly dependent on the practitioner’s level of skill, their approach to patient care and the specific methods that are used to select and fit your hearing aids.
Our highly advanced medical centre offers Hearing and Audio Logic Evaluation, including Audiometry, SISI and Behavioural Hearing Test. We also provide Ethical Dispensing of Programmable Digital Hearing Aids, programming done using NOAH Link and Bluetooth technology, dispensers of high definition hearing aids.

Behind the Ear Aids
All parts of the aid are contained in a small plastic case that rests behind the ear. The case is connected to an earmould by a tubing. This model is often recommended for children foe safety and growth reasons. It has a wide fitting range upto 120dB. PC: Phonak
Behind the ears with open fittings
It s a modification of regular BTEs. Tubing and ear mould are replaced by a very fine clear tube and a smaller customised ear tip/ plastic dome. It offers Cosmetic and listening advantage. PC: Phonak
Receiver in the Canal Aids
Smaller than BTEs. Very sleek and cosmetically appealing. The receiver is encased in a small customised mould or plastic dome. It is connected by a thin electrical wire to the plastic case which is behind the ear. Highly recommended for sloping type of hearing loss. PC: Phonak.
CIC and IIC
These devices fits the deepest within the canal. A tiny pulling thread is used to place and remove the instrument.These hearing aids are contained in tiny cases that fit partly or completely into the ear canal. They are the smallest hearing aids available and offer cosmetic and some listening advantages. Suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss. PC: Phonak
CIC and IIC
These hearing aids use a microphone on the “bad” ear that delivers sound to the functioning ear either via a wire or wirelessly, creating a feeling closer to binaural or hearing with both ears. PC: Phonak.

Counselling
Educating patient is the first step in successful rehabilitation process. He should be explained in detail about degree and type of hearing loss, its implications for communication, and preventive and rehabilitative recommendations. Our centre provides you with clear and concise treatment recommendation, allowing you to make an informed decision. Hearing aid demo is given for better understanding of its functionality in different sound environments. We belief in ‘individualised treatment approach’ rather than ‘one-size-fits-all approach’. Patient’s satisfaction is our priority. We are also highly focussed on rehabilitating hearing impaired children. Great emphasis is given on the importance of early intervention.
Overall satisfaction of the hearing aid is achieved when your hearing aids are Programmed and adjusted based on your hearing loss and lifestyle needs. So, it is a wise decision to rely on expert’s advice rather than shopping online for such medical products.
It is also important for the patient to have realistic expectation of the benefit from their hearing aids to avoid disappointment. They should not compare their hearing problem with others. Always remember no two hearing losses are the same. Moreover, these hearing aids are not hearing replacement devices. They just aid to optimise your residual hearing.
After you acquired your hearing aids, get the most out of them by wearing them daily for minimum 8-10 hours. Because the benefit of amplification may take weeks or months to be fully appreciated as the brain needs time to adjust to new signals. Clinical researchers have also suggested that it takes 2-3 weeks to get adjusted to the amplified sound. Therefore, your motivation to hear well is also equally important for the success of hearing aid fitting
Post-fitting follow up
Once you get acclimatised to the amplified sound, discuss your expectations and needs with your doctor. Hearing aids programs can be changed any number of times based on your requirements and comfort.
